High street opticians have been charging extremely high prices for glasses and lenses to the public. And until recently the consumer has had no alternative but to go to a high street to buy their glasses.

This has all changed now with the ability to purchase prescription glasses online. All you need is to get your eyes tested in the usual way at an optician. But instead of purchasing your glasses at the shop you go online and enter you prescription details and choose your frames.
